Veterinary Behaviour
I am a current resident with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB), working toward specialization in veterinary behaviour. As a non-traditional resident, I independently secured a mentor, developed my own residency program, and submitted it for approval by the ACVB. I am committed to completing this program in a timely and rigorous manner.
A veterinary behaviorist is a veterinarian with advanced training in animal behaviour, psychology, learning theory, and psychopharmacology. They are uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat medical and behavioural conditions that affect an animal’s well-being.
If you need help with a behavioural concern for your pet, a veterinary behaviorist is the most specialized professional to assist you. I encourage you to visit the ACVB website to find a board-certified diplomate in your area.
I currently offer behaviour consultations in British Columbia, Canada.
